Fellow mods,
I was recently wondering why us moderators have limited utility in unity answers.
For example we don't yet have the power to edit all questions in the moderation queue (only some that the users themselves allow to be editted). (currently we are limited to editing tags)
- A good example of this use would be formatting the text into code tags, because this is often forgotten.
- Correcting english to make the post better understandable for other users.
Another one would be maybe private messaging in general (not just mods), so you can further help someone instead of making an entire chat thread out of one question (which makes it hard for other users to find and see the actual fix)
Also I don't always seem to have the option to be able to close questions.
(Not sure what the validation on this is)
What are your opinions on this, and if you have any more examples please do share.
Regards,
Shady
